We started in 2005 through a genuine interest in mobile services and how to create a value for when you are away from your computer – both for businesses and for people in general.

Our goal is to become the European leader in delivering solutions for mobile services via webb. This objective has driven us to hire the best developers, visionaries in mobile services. People that continually spend time and energy on developing our own mobile concepts.

We manage the projects and have most of our customers in Sweden – but produce and develop in Mumbai. Therefore, we have vast knowledge of effective project management of outsourced projects and effective processes around requirements management, testing, documentation and development. It is the way we work every day. With this model we can provide our customers with a strong presence wherever they are – and still deliver at the highest quality and at a low price.

Today, we grow organically, both in Stockholm and Mumbai, with the aim of building one of the world’s best teams for developing mobile services. We aim to remain a company owned by its staff.
Our application development

Harbour Front has developed Iphone applications since 2008. In 2010 we started developing Android and Ipad applications. Therefor we are able to have a thorough understanding of what works for Iphone/Ipad and with Android-design, but also of adjacent services such as Facebook and integration of advertising services.

Our maintaining of knowledge

In order to maintain knowledge, Harbour Front works with strategic development of staff by foreseeing the future. That is why Harbour Front could see the great potential with Android. We focused on this platform, not only because of the number of handset models running Android increasing rapidly, but because we can see business reasons for operators and developers to sell on this platform. We started to follow Android early and develop applications for it.

Our process for mobile service development

Harbour Front works according to a well-tested and robust development process. During the entire process we work iteratively with developing your solution. You as a customer will be able to follow each step. To make this as simple as possible we use several tools:

Project management and status

A web based project space for status, upload files and access shared “to do”-lists.
- The Project space also provides a clear view who is doing what and when each step will be finished.
- It also provides a space for uploading pictures, wireframes and other files, which are needed in the project.
- All source code is uploaded to a shared area every day. This means that if you have development tools the latest version of the application can be tested.
- If you provide us with your DeviceID we will deploy the latest version of the application directly to your phone each week.
- All applications will be tested with our qualitytestprocess for Iphone/Ipad/Android
